Great Inexpensive Gift Ideas!

I know that the economy is not what it used to be. Americans are learning to cut edges where they can. Christmas is the biggest time of the year for spending. But it doesn’t have to be for you this year. Save some money this year and give gifts that are great and inexpensive.

1. Make it! It doesn’t matter if it’s for a friend or family, when you make something it shows you put thought into it. So use your resource. If you have a sewing maching and some extra fabric around, utilize it. If you like scrapbooking, make a photo album. If you enjoy painting, paint a picture.

2. Bake it! We all love Holiday goodies! If you enjoy cooking, put together goody bags. Make your favorite fudge, cookies, candies, and share them with you friends and family. I have done this for years and every year everyone is looking forward to there goody bag! It’s a nice way to be remembered! It is also very inexpensive!

3. Clone it! I know this sounds funny. But if you have indoor plants, clone them. It is real simple, cut a clipping from one of you plants and let it sit in water for a week or two and you will have a rooted plant to give to friends/family. I love this idea, it’s a gift that keeps giving. And every time they look at the plant it reminds them of you. You may get fun little pots to put them in ( check your local second hand store)

4. Re-use it. This is the most common one known. Re-gifting, this is a great way to also get rid of those gifts you would never use.
