Young Living Essential Oils: How to use Di-Gize

Di-Gize Essential Oil blend from Young Living contains essential oils steam distilled from tarragon, ginger, peppermint, juniper, fennel, lemongrass, anise, and patchouli. These oils have been proven to be effective against many digestive complaints, including heartburn, indigestion, gas and bloating. Peppermint has also been shown to fight parasitic infestations, and fennel has been used for centuries to relieve colic in infants. This oil is also highly recommended for lymphatic drainage.

You can dilute one drop of Di-Gize to four drops of carrier oil (almond, grape seed, olive, etc.) and place on the stomach, on trigger points, at the bottom of the throat, inhale it, or place in a capsule or mix with rice milk or syrup and take internally. You can also apply Di-Gize blend neat to the soles of the feet. In some very sensitive people, Di-Gize essential oil blend may cause skin irritation from the ginger.

Be sure to monitor the person’s reactions and start with a small dose and work up. These essential oils are extremely concentrated and a little will go a long way! Be sure that after you use the essential oils, you never touch the area around your eyes: you do not want to get anything in your eyes! If you should accidentally touch your eyes, dilute the oils with a few drops of vegetable oil. Do not wash your eyes out with water–oil and water do not mix, and the water will spread the oil, not dilute it!

Di-Gize may also be used to treat animals.

  • For colic, add 10-20 drops in food for large animals, 1-3 drops for small animals.
  • For fleas and other parasites, rub Di-Gize on the pads (bottoms) of the animal’s feet.
